Visit Palmehaven Kafe, a family-run café that’s been serving delicious traditional food for over 45 years. It’s especially known for classic Norwegian dishes like Kjøttkaker, Komle, and Torsk:
- Komle / Raspeball: A hearty potato dumpling made with flour, water, and salt. Served with sausage, bacon, salted meat, carrots, and mashed rutabaga or kohlrabi. Some even dip it in melted butter and sugar!
- Torsk: Pan-fried cod with potatoes and salted vegetables.
- Kjøttkaker: Norwegian-style meatballs with gravy, potatoes, and vegetables.
